MontrealIf you have been considering attending a BCF week in Montreal, 2010 will be your last chance for a while. And 2010 is a fabulous year to do it. Jane Glover, renowned conductor, author and music scholar, is making her fourth appearance as a guest conductor with BCF. She will lead the chorus through a week rehearsing Haydn’s Creation. The week will culminate in a concert at Eglise Saint Jean Baptiste accompanied by the McGill Chamber Orchestra.

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and offers something for everyone; music, history, vibrant neighborhoods, art galleries, shopping and restaurants of every cuisine imaginable. Besides having your afternoons free to discover all that Montreal has to offer, there is also one full day off in the middle of the program so that you can venture even farther to discover more about this Canadian province. Visit Quebec City, hike in the Laurentian Mountains, or explore the national historic site Fort Chambly perched on the edge of the Richelieu Rapids.

From points throughout the northeast Montreal is easily accessible by car, bus or train; and from cities farther away, Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is serviced by many major airlines. Housing, rehearsals, sectionals and classes all take place at McGill University.

Come sing with us in Montreal!
